Husky House Children's Center is committed to supporting the individual growth of the whole child. Through connection and collaboration we nurture the development of responsible, independent, creative and thoughtful citizens.
Husky House is a nonprofit, year-round, enrichment program that has served the Lamorinda community for almost 30 years. We operate before- and after-school on-site at an elementary school in Lafayette. During the summer we run a summer, day-camp on-site.
Would you enjoy the excitement and challenge of an ever-changing atmosphere? Husky House Children's Center is looking for an energetic and dynamic person to join our teaching team. You will work with children ages 5-12 on an elementary school campus in a warm, friendly environment. We stress creative and social development. One of our primary goals is to develop strong social skills and a sense of community in a nurturing and safe setting.
Make a difference everyday by joining a great team of child "educarers." At our school-age program, you will plan activities and projects that show your passion for meaningful learning and creative fun! We are looking for teachers and aides that want to work collaboratively as a team in a great program that cares. If you are a wonderful role model who wants to have a positive influence and lasting impact on children, join us in building the future, one school-ager at a time.
